Anime fans are rejoicing right now because Anime Expo 2023 has finally begun. The mega anime convention has just started yesterday and will be staying until Tuesday. With various activities to do and numerous new updates on popular anime, this event is highly anticipated, proven even more so when the tickets of Anime Expo 2023 became sold out within days, and is already trending on Twitter.
The official dates of Anime Expo 2023 is July 1 to July 4, 2023. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The guests of honor include Kafka Asagiri, the creator of the popular manga series Bungou Stray Dogs, and the voice actors of the anime series Obey Me! Nightbringer, among others.

Among the many events of July 2, some of the most exciting are TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You ~High School Days~ Special Episode Premiere which will be going on from 10AM to 11AM, and the Jujutsu Kaisen Panel that will be held at 3PM as well as the One Piece Episode 1000 Dub World Premiere that will start at 6PM at the Grammy Museum Terrace and end at 10PM.
On July 3, the panel of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is scheduled at 1:30PM at the Petree Hall. CloverWorks is also presenting the U.S. premiere of Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out on the same day, at the JW-Platinum panel room at 6:30PM.

Aside from these, there are also a preliminary anime debate, a how to use wigs of anime characters workshop and many maid and butler café events. Anime Expo 2023 will be ending with a closing ceremony that will be held at 4PM on July 4.
