One of the most popular activities among anime and manga fans is cosplaying. Every year thousands of fans cosplay as their favorite characters during the many anime conventions. This year at the Anime Expo 2023, many fans are seen cosplaying as the characters from One Piece and bringing our favorite pirates to life.
One cosplayer who caught the eyes of everyone with their special cosplay is the one cosplaying as Bounceman, Luffy’s Gear 4 look. The cosplay was huge and very detailed, and One Piece fans at Anime Expo took this opportunity to get pictures with it. Aside from them, many were seen cosplaying as Luffy in his usual avatar, Law, Zoro, Ace and Shanks among others.

Anime Expo, one of the biggest anime conventions in the United States, began this year on July 1 and will be ending on July 4. The convention is being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and has numerous events for fans to enjoy. Many news on upcoming anime are being announced on this as well as various special workshops for anime fans, including a workshop for wigs for cosplaying.
The English dub of One Piece episode 1000 was also broadcasted during the second day of Anime Expo 2023. The event went on for 4 hours and was wildly popular among fans. Speaking of One Piece, the manga is currently on a hiatus, and will be returning on July 17, while the anime is soon to release the most anticipated Episode 1072 which will feature Luffy’s Gear 5.
