Demon Slayer Episode 9 Season 3 Unveils Mitsuri’s Power Level

Demon Slayer Season 3 which adapted the Swordsmith Village Arc of the manga features not one but two Hashira along with Tanjiro and Nezuko. After seeing Muichiro Tokito in action, fans have been dying to see the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji in her element. Demon Slayer Episode 9 Season 3 finally gives us a glimpse into the powers and abilities of Mitsuri.

Mitsuri Kanroji

  • Coming towards the end of the episode, Mitsuri appears in the pinch of time when Zohakuten has Nezuko and Genya caught by the wooden dragon, and Tanjiro got swallowed. Showing her incredible flexibility, she somersaults in the air before cutting the wooden dragon with swift swings of her unique Nichirin Sword.
  • Though there is currently only one scene to display Mitsuri’s power level, it’s easy to see how incredibly powerful she is. Her flexibility and swiftness are her biggest assets, and those qualities can give Zohakuten a run for his money. Mitsuri’s attacks are so fast and performed so intricately that the Upper Moon Four demon has little time to dodge.
  • The Love Hashira may appear sweet and delicate, but she is Hashira for a reason. Not only is she physically very strong and unbelievably flexible, but her attacks are the fastest among all Hashira, including the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui. Her unique katana also gives her the advantage of unpredictability that will serve her well in battles.

After Demon Slayer Episode 9 Season 3, the next episode is titled “Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji”, giving us a hint that the episode will be focused on her and her fighting abilities. We’ll soon get to see Mitsuri unleashing her whole potential against the Upper Moon Four, Zohakuten.
