Fans have been eagerly waiting for the Minato one-shot manga that is due this month. After the worldwide popularity poll of Naruto characters, called NARUTOP99, where it was announced that whoever got the top spot would be getting their own own-shot manga written by Masashi Kishimoto himself. Minato Namikaze turned out to be the most popular character on the poll.
With that, Shueisha announced Minato’s one-shot, titled Naruto Gaiden: Uzu no Naka no Tsumujikaze. The one-shot manga is scheduled to be released this Sunday, on July 16, 2023. But now there are already leaks of the manga surfacing on the internet. From the leaks, we can see several scenes and get an idea about what to expect.

In the leaked raw scans of the Minato one-shot manga, we can see Minato’s whole team under Jiraiya fighting a battle. There are also scenes of Minato inventing Rasengan and how he got his inspiration. However, the core of the story is going to be his relationship with Kushina who is the jinchuriki of Kurama.
Some of the leaked pages show Minato trying to learn sealing jutsu, and there is a panel of Kurama raging. We can also see a squabble between Minato and Kushina where she scolds him for not wanting to be with her, and Minato trying to convince her that it’s all a misunderstanding.
Kushina also has some flashback scenes of her meeting with the first jinchuriki of Kurama, Mito Uzumaki, who told her the importance of love. Looks like Minato and Kushina’s love for one another will be playing a major role in the story.
