Official Trailer for Netflix’s One Piece Live Action Series Is Out

It’s common knowledge that One Piece is one of the most popular manga and anime in the whole world. Its popularity crosses borders, with fans all over the world enjoying the journey of Luffy and his ragtag crew of the Straw Hat Pirates. And now, the One Piece Live Action series is about to be released to take the world by storm once again.

The venture of the One Piece Live Action series is taken by Netflix, in collaboration with the original creator of the manga, Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha and Tomorrow Studios. The teaser trailer of the series was released on June 18 where we got to see the glimpses of the rich One Piece world coming to life.

Now the official trailer for Netflix’s One Piece Live Action series has dropped. The trailer is pretty exciting, beginning with the execution of Roger where he urges pirates to search for the One Piece.

There are also many small snippets that promise us great things: like the Straw Hats’ battle against Buggy, Zoro’s fight against Mihawk, Sanji and Zoro’s banter, and the iconic Arlong Park Arc.

The series will be adapting the Romance Dawn Saga, and will be released on Netflix on August 31. The lead characters: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Ussop and Sanji will be played by Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero and Taz Skylar respectively.

In another exciting update, it’s revealed that the Japanese dub of Luffy will be voiced by Luffy’s original voice actor of 25 years, Mayumi Tanaka. This development makes fans all the more eager for the One Piece Live Action series.
