Solo Leveling New Trailer: Anime Scheduled for Next Winter (Confirmed)

Korean comics or manhwa is getting popular around the world, and one of the most popular manhwa of all time is the action fantasy manhwa, Solo Leveling. With its exceptional plot and characters, fans have been waiting for it to get an anime adaptation for years. This comes to be true only recently, the news even more solidified by the new trailer of the Solo Leveling anime.

The anime adaptation of Solo Leveling is being worked on by A-1 Pictures, and will be coming out in the Winter 2024 lineup. Shunsuke Nakashige has taken the position of the director of the anime while Hiroyuki Sawano has joined as the music composer. The number of episodes for the upcoming anime is still unknown; it will be revealed later.

The 1:43 minute trailer of Solo Leveling features the main characters along with the protagonist Sung Jin-Woo as he trains to escape the foretold penalty.

The trailer has already garnered a lot of hype for the anime, for both fans of the original manhwa and new fans who are yet to be familiar with the world of Solo Leveling. Given the previous works of A-1 Pictures, it seems the anime adaptation of the popular manhwa is in good hands.

Solo Leveling manhwa debuted in 2018 with Kakao Page. The story is by Chugong, and the art by Jang, Sunrack and Disciples.

The manhwa is based in a fantasy world where humans exist alongside magic and monsters, and revolves around Jin-Woo, a weak pre-teen who is tasked to complete an impossible training regime to avoid getting punished after a mysterious near-death experience.
