Naruto is one of the most popular and influential manga of all time, and its popularity, even years after it ended, remains and only grows with time. Now 9 years after its conclusion in 2014, a one shot manga focusing on Minato Namikaze is all set to come out. The Minato one shot manga will be released on Sunday, July 16, 2023.
The whole venture about a one shot about Minato developed when the NARUTOP99 worldwide popularity poll was released. It was announced that whichever character earned the top spot, would be getting a special one shot focusing on them. It was Minato Namikaze who left everyone behind and earned the top spot on the worldwide popularity contest.

The Minato one shot will be drawn and authored by the mangaka of the original series, Masashi Kishimoto himself. Not only that, but the special one shot manga will be simultaneously released in Japan and the world on Shonen Jump.
The title of the one shot is Naruto Gaiden: Uzu no Naka no Tsumujikaze, but the official English title is yet to be revealed. This one shot manga on Minato is going to be 55 pages long.
For those who don’t remember, though that is unlikely, given that he won the worldwide popularity poll, Minato Namikaze is the Fourth Hokage, and also the father of the protagonist of the original series, Naruto Uzumaki.
He was also the Jonin instructor of Kakashi, Rin and Obito. Minato and his wife Kushina sacrificed their lives to protect Naruto before sealing the nine-tailed fox inside the newborn child.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the Minato one shot ever since it was announced. Looks like the wait is finally over, now that the one shot is to be released next week.
