The Otsutsuki are an ancient clan of celestial beings with monstrous strength. They have a parasitic ideology, the Otsutsuki no Ishi, or Otsutsuki will, that dictates they continuously evolve in order to attain godhood.

The Otsutsuki are continuously in search of other chakra forms and living beings across dimensions. They need to taste the chakra fruit of the divine tree for the same, which in turn destroys the whole planet they invade. Thus, the Otsutsuki is a threat not only to Konoha but the whole Shinobi world.

14) Otsutsukitarine no Miko

Otsutsukitarine No Miko was a young king and the father of Princess Kaguya Otsutsuki. He ruled a faraway planet in very peaceful and flourishing times.

Crowned at the young age of thirteen, he had to fight many battles in order to get rid of the threats that his kingdom faced. He had long eyebrows and a large beard. This is reflected in the long hair kept by Otsutsuki. He is the first person known to possess the Byakugan.

13) Kanna Otsutsuki

Kanna Otsutsuki lived during the Ninshu Period. She was the wife of Asura Otsutsuki. Kanna was a loving and strong-spirited woman. She was a beautiful, slender woman of average height.

Kanna was open with her thoughts and determined to help her villagers. Asura Otsutsuki, along with Taizo, visited the village in order to help the villagers fight a mysterious disease.

Seeing Asura heal the villagers, she started learning Ninjutsu from him. She learned the Mystic Palm Technique to heal the villagers.

12) Otsutsuki Clan Patriarch

The Otsutsuki clan patriarch appeared in The Last: Naruto the Movie as the leader of the Otsutsuki clan on the moon. He is a celestial-human hybrid and a direct descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki.

His abilities are not clear, but he can show the past to those he considers worthy. He was the one who told Hinata that she was the only one who could stop Toneri from destroying the Earth.

11) Toneri Otsutsuki

Toneri Otsutsuki is the only surviving member of the branch family of Otsutsuki on the moon and is a direct descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki. He bears hatred for humankind for weaponizing Chakra and using it for destruction.

Toneri misinterprets Hamura’s decree and decides to destroy the Earth as he believes that humans no longer deserve the gift of chakra. However, after being defeated by Naruto and being convinced by Hamura’s spirit, he gave up on the idea.

In Baruto, Toneri is shown trying to stop Urashiki from invading Earth but is defeated; Toneri is the one who gave Baruto the Jougan eye.

10) Urashiki Otsutsuki

Urashiki Otsutsuki was sent to Earth alongside Kinshiki Otsutsuki and Momoshiki Otsutsuki to retrieve the tailed beast chakra in order to revive the Shinju, or God Tree. He is as arrogant as any Otsutsuki and looks down upon humans.

Urashiki carries a red fishing rod, with which he is able to steal others’ chakra and imitate them. Boruto and Sasuke traveled back in time to stop him from killing Naruto and defeated him along with Jiraya’s help.

9) Kinshiki Otsutsuki

Kinshiki Otsutsuki came to Earth, pairing up with Momoshiki Otsutsuki, his foster son. He serves as a guardian to Momoshiki and is loyal and subservient to him. Kinshiki had the ability to absorb chakra and transform them into weapons of his choice.

He strongly believed in Otsutsuki’s will of evolution and Self-Sacrifice. Among All The Otsutsuki ranked, Kinshiki was absorbed by Momoshiki in order to transfer his power to him.

8) Momoshiki Otsutsuki

Momoshiki Otsutsuki is among the higher-ranking Otsutsuki members and one of the main Otsutsuki families. He is a talented schemer and has a cunning nature.

Momoshiki is, however, lazy and relies on chakra absorbed by him as pills. He has little skill in Taijutsu, and thus it becomes a crippling weakness for him.

When defeated by Baruto, he places his kama on him, thereby preventing his soul from extinguishing. He stays on the lookout for opportunities to take over Baruto’s consciousness.

7) Indra Otsutsuki

Indra Otsutsuki is the oldest son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki and the elder brother of Asura Otsutsuki. He is believed to be the progenitor of the Uchiha Clan.

Indra was a prodigy and showed great skill in Ninshu. Hagoromo had high hopes for him and believed him to be his successor. But the power and skill blinded Indra.

Indra was also misguided by Black Zetsu. He started to be cruel and look down on people around him. Indra even killed two of his friends to gain Mangekyo Sharingan. This made Hagoromo declare Asura as his successor.

Indra attacked the village, enraged by his father’s decision, but was defeated by Asura. He vowed to destroy Ninjutsu, even if he had to take several reincarnations.

6) Asura Otsutsuki

Asura Otsutsuki was the younger son and successor of Hagoromo Otsutsuki. His mother died while giving birth to him. He showed no natural talent in Ninshu and was overshadowed by his elder brother, Indra.

But he never gave up and constantly pushed his limits, later becoming strong enough to even beat Indra. Unlike Indra, he had compassion and believed in love and care.

His dedication moved Hagoromo, and he declared Asura to be his successor. This caused a rift between Indra and Asura.

Asura Otsutsuki among All Otsutsuki ranked is the progenitor of the Uzumaki and Senju clans.

5) Hamura Otsutsuki

Hamura Otsutsuki is the fraternal twin of Hagoromo Otsuki and the younger son of Kaguya Otsutsuki. Both Hagoromo and Hamura were the first with the ability to wield chakra. Hamura was the founder of the Otsutsuki branch clan of the moon.

Kaguya got jealous of her son’s ability to wield chakra. She, as Ten-Tails, tried to absorb them but was defeated by them and sealed off within Hagoromo. Later Hamura and the rest of the clan members moved to the moon to watch over the ten tails body.

4) Hagoromo Otsutsuki

Hagoromo Otsutsuki was the elder of the twin sons of Kaguya Otsutsuki. He was known as the wisest of all. Even at a young age, he spoke of love and peace.

Hagoromo was the first person to activate Rinnegan. Among All Otsutsuki Ranked. Hagoromo Otsutsuki is known as the Sage Of Six Paths.

When Kaguya caused havoc as Ten Tails in order to destroy all chakra, he and Hamura together defeated her. Hagoromo sealed the Ten Tails within himself and became the first Jinchuriki.

He divided the ten tails into nine tails. He later removed the Ten Tails husk within him and hid it on the moon.

The removal of the ten-tailed husk from his body caused his death.

3) Kaguya Otsutsuki

Of All The Otsutsuki Ranked, Princess Kaguya Otsutsuki is known as the Mother or progenitor of chakra. She consumed the forbidden fruit of Shinju, or the God Tree, and later became its infamous embodiment, the Ten-Tails. Kaguya is the mother of Hagoromo Otsutsuki and Hamura Otsutsuki.

She became widely known as the Rabbit Goddess. In order to stop humanity from causing more damage, she cast the perfect genjutsu, Infinite Tsukoyomi. Her immortality corrupted her to the point that she became jealous of her own two children for wielding chakra like her.

She was defeated by her sons but resurrected by White Zetsu. Kaguya was defeated by Team 7 of Konoha (Kakashi Hatake, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno) and is sealed off by them.

2) Isshiki Otsutsuki

Isshiki Otsutsuki was considered the most powerful among the Otsutsuki. He is one of the main antagonists of the Baruto series and a member of the main family of the Otsutsuki Clan. He came to Earth paired with Kaguya.

Isshiki possessed Jigen’s body but the Jigen was weak and not fit to be his vessel. Kawaki fits to be his vessel and therefore Jigen tried his best to take over his body but he died before he could do so.

With Jigen transferring his power and the Otsutsuki’s will over to Code, it could be implied that there are no more living Otsutsuki members left.

1) Shibai Otsutsuki

Shibai Otsutsuki was recently mentioned by Amado as the reason behind the strength of his humanoids. Shibai Otsutsuki, according to Amado, is someone who has already reached godhead by evolving continuously.

He has discarded his own body and transcended beyond the physical realm, where he is hard to perceive even by an Otsutsuki. Amado got his hands on Shibai Otsutsuki’s remains and transplanted his DNA into the humanoids.

Otsutsuki King (Theory)

Shibai Otsutsuki is mentioned as the King of Otsutsuki by Amado. Of All The Otsutsuki Ranked, he is known to attend Godhead and has transcended beyond his physical body.

Shibai devoured countless planets and through continuous evolution by eating the fruit of Shinju, he has transgressed beyond the physical realm.

He cannot be perceived anymore but is still present in the cosmos. Shibai’s chakra ability is called Shinjutsu where he can use his chakra without weaving any signs.

Ninjutsu is but an imitation of the higher Shinjutsu. Since he is no longer in his physical body, he can be considered deceased for now.

Momoshiki Otsutsuki is trying to take over Boruto while Kawaki’s body has gone completely Otsutsukification. With Code and Momoshiki trying to carry forward the will of Otsutsuki, the shinobi of Konoha are trying to protect them and the world. Things are going to get instructive in the coming chapters of Boruto.
