Upon seeing Imu and hearing his/her name, Cobra remembers hearing this name in the past and reveals that Imu was the name of one of the first 20 kings who formed the World Government. With this, he confirms the theory that it is indeed one of the first rulers who are still sitting on the empty throne. But before Cobra can reveal anything further, he’s targeted to be killed by the Gorosei.
Imu being among the first 20 kings raises the question of how he/she managed to become the ruler of Mary Geoise when the kings had made a pact to never let anyone king sit on the throne. Hopefully, we will get to know the answer to that soon enough.
