Naruto and Boruto fans are having a ball this year because of all the new developments the two series are receiving. Naruto anime will be airing again this year with newly animated episodes to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. Minato’s one-shot manga was also recently released. And now, the timeskip looks of Boruto, Kawaki and Sarada are finally unveiled.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga, written by Ukyo Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto, and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto is currently on a four-month hiatus, and will be resuming in August with a timeskip. The timeskip chapters will be beginning from Chapter 81, which is scheduled to be released on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Fans of the series have been eagerly waiting for the new appearances of the main cast. In the recently released images, we see Boruto, Sarada and Kawaki’s timeskip avatars.
All three characters have been changed forever by the events of the pre-timeskip era, and the seriousness they’ve developed from their experiences show in their appearances.

The unveiling of these three characters’ avatars also indicate that these three will be the main focus of the post-timeskip story.
A lot of fans are showing their disappointment at this because this means Mitsuki will probably be a supporting character from now on. Mitsuki, along with Boruto and Sarada, was the original trio of the Boruto series, as a part of the new Team 7.
But after Kawaki’s appearance in the story, his role has visibly lessened, with the more focus being on Boruto’s relationship with Kawaki. However, most fans are rejoicing at the new looks, and the hype for Boruto is now higher than ever.
